Leather Client is a simple Minecraft launcher we built to make starting the game faster and calmer. It focuses on version 1.21.11 today, with a clean layout and fewer distractions than juggling folders and shortcuts on your own.
Right now, Leather Client supports Minecraft 1.21.11. We chose one version first so we could polish the experience. Support for older and newer versions is on our roadmap — we’ll share updates in Discord when they’re ready.
Yes. Leather Client is free to download and use. You still need a valid Minecraft account from Mojang or Microsoft to play, the same as any other launcher.
No separate Leather account is required. Sign in with your normal Minecraft login. Your details stay on your computer — we don’t run a cloud login service.
If you join community servers often, Leather Client can add them to your multiplayer list automatically so they’re there when you open the game — one less step before you play with friends.
No. We’re an independent team. Leather Client is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft belongs to Mojang.
